Circa 1951-1960: 50s Colors Rose Fiesta
6" dessert bowl, originaly considered a fruit bowl, with great amounts of concentric, jiggered rings. Produced for a short time in the 50s colors. This rose example looks unused. Great proportions and sturdy, thick walls make this a very usable bowl, stacks great, measures 6 3/16" w x 1 9/16" tall. Marked in the mold on the bottom and fully glazed with the three sager stilt marks from the kiln which is unusual to find in the 50s colors since Homer Laughlin has switched to shelf loaded kilns which were quicker to load, but foots of pieces had to be wiped dry to accommodate that type of kiln.
