Circa 1938 to 1942: Vintage Fiesta
cobalt blue glaze is such a bold and strong color- thick and rich and sure of itself. Spared from the hazards of splotchy, uneven glazing that is so common on the original green and turquoise glazes, Cobalt Blue solidifies the line, being the darkest original color available. This example of the number 2 Fiesta
nesting bowl is one of the nicest examples of the glazes I have seen. The glaze is stunning and perfect, the inside shines and the outside is virtually unscathed except for perhaps the lightest of one or two scratches - really a beauty with a perfect rim without chips or cracks, no use, no dings, no spoon taps, no touch-ups. This bowl will make a great addition to any collection. Marked in the mold on the bottom "HLC fiesta MADE IN U.S.A. 2".
