Circa November 1935-February 1936.
Rare, early, flat-bottomed version of the Fiesta covered onion soup bowl in original yellow. Hand applied finial, hand applied scroll handles, a hand turned foot and a marked in the mold bottom make the this early version extremely short lived and rare. Revised in February 1936, production would continue for another two years; however the remainder produced would be unmarked with the round bottom. If you love early Fiesta with distinguished marking this piece is for you. Condition on this example is pristine. A small glaze skip on one edge handle (shown in picture six) and one flaw from the mold (shown in picture nine) are the only factory effects to mention, otherwise unused and unflawed with no damage, no wear, no use, no touchups - just a marvelous example.
