Circa 1951-1959. The vintage 50s fiesta color red, sometimes referred to as "dusty red" is a much more muted and sophisticated color than its contemporary counterpart. Of course the whole glazing process was different and the vintage glazes contained lead and heavy metals to give them a look that can't be replicated with todays quick fire and low cost materials. This chop plate has light wear but no damage.
