Circa 1938-1944
Modeled in the spring of 1937 for the Royal Metal Manufacturing Co. out of Chicago, the Homer Laughlin Pottery Company's oval platter measures a large 13 1/16" long. Dipped in the original four fiesta colors of red, yellow, green and cobalt and made on the ram press, unmarked but sold originally with the paper label. The HLCo oval platters are a rare find for the collector. This one in original yellow is in excellent condition.
