Circa: 1959 - 1969. By the end of the 50s
fiesta sales were declining and production was much more limited, so not only was medium green produced for much less time than other vintage fiesta colors, it was also produced in less quantities, making it all the harder to find.

Circa: 1959 - 1969. The fiesta sauce boat is a classic staple of the pottery line and has been included in the line for the entire production run, including unmarked versions during the Ironstone years, and again today in the post 1986 glazes. A great rounded belly and arched spout naturalize the piece, while the countless concentric lines decorate the edges in truely art-deco fashion, culminating in cascading scallops hidden at the base of the handle.

Circa 1959-1969: Medium Green has the distinction of being the last new color added to the shapes produced for the original line. The 60s were turbulent times and the fun family table with its great mix and match solid colored dinnerware was being replaced by a culture consumed by pattern. Consequently far less Fiesta pottery was making its way to the market place, so it is always a delight to find a classic form like the sugar bowl, with its scrolling handles and hand applied knob, and especially to find one in perfect shape in the hardest to find vintage color of them all—the elusive medium green.

Circa 1959-1969: The fiesta salt and pepper shakers make up two of the 14 pieces that were made through the entire vintage production. They were part of the original line and oddly enough were sold seperately and not as pairs although there is a distint difference in them, the pepper having smaller holes and a smaller hole pattern than the salts. Due to their small size they were also one of the very few Fiesta items that were not marked. This pair in the extremely hard to find Medium Green glaze is in excellent condition without chips, damage, repairs or touch-ups.
