Circa 1939-1948: This is the revised version of the original ram pressed utiltiy tray. The ram press was known to cause warping in the clay body, so a slip cast version of the fiesta celery tray was introduced a few years after production. These slip cast versions will be fully glazed on the bottom and usually found with the ink stamp mark on the bottom. This example in the original green is in excellent condition, without damage or use. Bottom is fully glazed with quality controllers stamp impressed in the clay, but does not carry the inkstamp, this leads me to believe this was a transition version between late 1938 and early 1939.
