Circa 1936-1946: Orignally called the "honey jar", the vintage Fiesta marmalade was deemed to large for its original pupose as the mustard jar and was released 1/2 a year later as the Covered Marmalade Jar. Three pieces, slip cast, with the finial applied to the lid by hand and the spoon hole punch cut out by hand as well. Lots of wonderful hand craftsmanship details in the Fiesta pottery from the 30s and 40s.

Circa 1936 to 1938: Bottom Rings:Inside bottom rings on the #1 nesting bowl is as good as it gets. Marking the date to the first two years of production and setting off your nesting set with a delightful treat for the eyes. Circa 1942-1945/49: Collectors lament that there was never a vintage Fiesta butter dish for the line, but the adventurous can rejoice in the butter borrowed from Homer Laughlin's Jade line. Dipped in the Harlequin colors the large butter transformed intself into a delightful play of deco angles and details. Not common in any color, it is the Original Green glaze that will elude collectors.

Circa 1937-1951: The fiesta salt and pepper shakers make up two of the 14 pieces that were made through the entire vintage production. They were part of the original line and oddly enough were sold seperately and not as pairs although there is a distint difference in them, the pepper having smaller holes and a smaller hole pattern than the salts. Due to their small size they were also one of the very few Fiesta pottery items that were not marked. Slip cast, the mold seam would have to be smoothed by hand, as in many of the slipcast items, but probably because of their small size, the seams tend to show up more on the Fiesta shaker than most pieces.
