Circa 1937-1959: The 10 1/2" compartment plate was inspired from a suggestion by retailers Lazarus after pottery designer Frederick Rhead visited their stores in Columbus Ohio. The thick plate with deep wells and an abundance of bottom rings is a great version of the divided plate. This example in original yellow is in excellent condition with no damage to the dividers or elsewhere.
