Circa 1936- 1944. The Riviera pottery juice tumbler in original Century ivory vellum glaze is a rare treat to find. The standard Riviera colors of red, yelow, mauve and original light green make up the Riviera juice set, which is a rare treat in itself, but add the turquoise or the ivory versions of the tumbler and you've elevated your collection. The tumbler is a great example of art-deco lines maximizing the minimal design of Fredrick Rhead, designer of the more famous Fiesta pottery. Riviera pottery offers an elite excursion from the Fiesta collecting and comes in a delightful art-deco design. Please note this example in Ivory has a slightly less than 1/16" on the rim, so I've reduced the price from $75 to $45 accordingly. Otherwise, fantastic and very clean with no sign of use.
