Circa 1936-1938: It is a delight to decorate the table with the Vintage Fiesta 12" Footed Comport. One of the great pieces of the original Fiesta pottery line—the footed salad crosses over from dinnerware to art pottery. Slip cast in two pieces, the foot would have been hand applied to the underside of the bowl and both pieces would have been turned on the jiggering machine to be decorated with bands of concentric rings. This example in the original ivory glaze is in excellent condition ,please note a small sand bump in the bottom, with a great surface that shows very little use. The creamy vintage vellum ivory surface is wonderful, with no chips or damage or touch-ups and repairs. Early, unmarked version with the Measures 12 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" tall.
