Circa 1939-1948: This is the revised version of the original ram pressed utiltiy tray. The ram press was known to cause warping in the clay body, so a slip cast version of the fiesta
celery tray was introduced a few years after production. These slip cast versions will be fully glazed on the bottom and usually found with the ink stamp mark on the bottom. This example in the original yellow is in good condition, please note a small area of lighter glaze (not wear) on the inside bottom on one side along the outer ring (shown in the 3rd picture at about 7o'clock and the last two pictures between 5 & 6 o'clock). Otherwise there is no scratching, no damage, no chips or cracks, very nice brilliant yellow glaze and nicely inkstamped "GENUINE fiesta HLCO USA" on the bottom. Slip cast and hand jiggered rings.
