Circa 1941-1959: Rose was not the only color in the Harlequin line that has changed names over the years. Originally referred to as "Salmon" by Homer Laughlin. This example is in excellent condition with some minor glaze variation along the bottom of one side. No damage, no use, no wear or touch-ups. An early piece, introduced in the 40s, the jug would have been used for milk at the table. An exciting piece in the harlequin line with it's classic hand applied angular art-deco handle and middle band of concentric rings. Interesting to note is that the Rose glaze developed by Homer Laughlin was used in the Harlequin line nearly a decade before its application on Fiesta ware. Great dusty rose color on a classic art-deco piece.
