Circa 1940-1959: The vintage Homer Laughlin Harlequin pottery line has an abundance of bowls to choose from, but only two serving bowls. The Harlequin 9" nappy was released in 1936 and ran a full 20 years in production. Harlequin began to be dipped in the vintage rose glaze in the 40s, before the fiesta pottery line began using the color. It is interesting to note that although Fredrick Rhead was the primary designer and force behind both pottery lines, the Harlequin 9" Nappy bowl was actually modeled by Bill Berrisford in the 30s. This example of the vintage rose Harlequin 9" nappy is in excellent condition without damage and is a wonderful example. Measures 8 3/4" w x 2 3/4"h
